Publisher and contact.
Live Hearthwell Editorial team publishes this site. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@livehearthwell.com. Please identify the relevant feature or correspondence, and avoid sending medical records or other sensitive information.
This notice describes current website behavior. It is not a claim of compliance in every jurisdiction. Changes to hosting, analytics, advertising or affiliate services require this notice to be reviewed before those services are enabled.
Browsing and hosting.
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Web requests necessarily expose information such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL and time to the hosting infrastructure. Cloudflare may process connection and security information to deliver and protect the site. Its privacy policy explains its own processing.
The live site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate page views, referrers and loading performance. Its beacon loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and reports to Cloudflare. Cloudflare states that this service does not collect or use visitors’ personal data and does not track people across its customers’ websites. Browser-only saved guides and Home Passport notes are not sent to this service. Analytics may be blocked by browser settings and is not a count of every visitor. Pages do not include Google Analytics, advertising tags, remote font services or embedded social widgets in this edition.
Optional saved guides and Home Passport.
When you save a guide, its title and page address are stored in this browser under live-hearthwell-shortlist-v2. When you submit the Home Passport, its measurements, selected priorities and notes are stored here under live-hearthwell-home-passport-v1. These entries are used to provide the saving features you request, not to track you across sites.
Our scripts do not send these saved entries to our server, a retailer or an analytics provider. They remain until you clear them or your browser removes its site storage. A shared device can expose saved notes. Use Clear saved guides in the saved-guides panel and Clear this notebook in the Home Passport when finished. Browser settings can also remove the site’s data.
Downloading a Home Passport creates a file you control. Printing uses your browser and printer. Do not enter private addresses, diagnoses, payment details or sensitive health information. A language selector changes the page address and does not set a language cookie. Dismissing the optional related-product panel stores live-hearthwell-companion-dismissed-v1 in session storage to keep it closed during this browser visit; this preference is not transmitted by our script.
Email and external links.
Choosing a contact email link opens your email application. If you send a message, your email service and the publication’s mail service process the message, sender details and attachments. Correspondence is used to respond, investigate a correction or handle your request; send only the information needed.
External source and retailer links take you to a different website. That website has its own privacy terms and may use cookies or affiliate attribution after you arrive. We do not control its checkout or data practices. An active compensated route is disclosed beside the link.
Your choices and requests.
You can read the journal without using saved guides or entering notes. Disable or clear site storage through your browser if you prefer; the optional saving functions may then work only for the current visit.
Contact the publication to ask about personal information in correspondence or to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Browser-only notes cannot be retrieved by the editorial team. Applicable rights and any right to complain to a supervisory authority depend on the relevant law.
Future analytics and advertising.
Non-essential analytics or advertising storage will not be added simply because you continue browsing. Before enabling those services, we will describe the providers, purposes and retention and offer applicable consent choices with a way to change them.
The UK regulator explains that storage rules cover local storage as well as cookies, and that the user-requested-service exception is limited to what is necessary for that requested function.
